Hillsboro FFA holds summer meeting

On July 22, the Hillsboro FFA chapter held the annual summer meeting at the Gaines farm. This was the first meeting held by the 2025-26 officer team with six newly elected officers.  

Forty-two members were in attendance at this event where we discussed business such as allowing the treasurer to begin purchasing things for our FFA Food Booth at the Highland County Fair. 

We also discussed upcoming fair dates and possible new incentives for each grade level. We then kicked off the best part of this get-together which included roasting hotdogs, a volleyball tournament, cornhole, water balloon toss, and even horseback riding. 

With a large number of both new and old members in attendance, it's safe to say this summer meeting was a success.
