Lead Summary

Emma Hatfield-
The Hillsboro FFA Chapter had their first meeting on Friday, Sept. 18.
During the meeting the chapter discussed the fair and Ag Day, which will be postponed to the spring, due to COVID-19 regulations.
Chapter members also discussed the October meeting and as well as the annual fruit sale. The chapter is planning to hold a fruit sale like the previous years. The start date for taking orders was Oct. 8.
While members were in the meeting, the students played a Kahoot game about the FFA chapter. Hillsboro FFA Chapter President Kelcie Thornburgh adjourned the meeting, and members enjoyed pre-packaged cookies from a local bakery.
“The meeting was a lot of fun, and it was good to be back with the chapter,” member Lawton Parry said.
