Lead Summary

By
Breanna Cooper-
On Sept. 24, the Hillsboro FFA chapter held their monthly meeting at Hillsboro High School in the agricultural education classrooms.
Approximately 117 members and three guests were present for this meeting.
“This was the biggest crowd I have seen in three years of being a part of this chapter,” member Chloe Page said. “I think the officers did an outstanding job keeping all members on track.”
The members voted on several different items of business, such as Ag Day stations, fruit sale fundraisers, the National FFA Convention and the next meeting location.
Since this meeting was held during high school lunchtime, the FFA chapter provided sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches paired with pancakes for the members.
Members will meet again after Ag Day on Oct. 8.
