Jordan Williamson-
On Sunday, March 31, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter held their annual banquet at Hillsboro High School. The Hillsboro FFA banquet shows all the activities the FFA members have done in the previous year.
All the members are recognized for their participation and accomplishments during this banquet. They thank their supporters over the past year, recognize every grade and announce kids who have done CDEs, career development events ranging from ag sales to livestock judging and soils. They also announce kids that have gotten a proficiency award, which is how well kids keep track of their supervised agriculture experience (SAE).
Each year, the FFA chapter has a honorary membership degree for an individual who has helped throughout multiple years. This year’s recipient is Jeff Parry.
