Hillsboro FFA attends Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Hillsboro FFA chapter took five officers to the Ohio Statehouse for the Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference.

The morning workshop was focused on advocating for agriculture education, informing student about important issues and preparing them to speak with legislators.

Following the workshop, there was a luncheon with Ohio legislators. FFA members had the opportunity to meet with their legislators and tour the Statehouse.

The director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Dave Daniels, met with the students and gave them a brief tour of the statehouse.
