Hillsboro FFA Agricultural Issues Team places fourth in state

On April 30, members of the Hillsboro FFA Chapter competed in the state Agricultural Issues contest at the 88th state FFA convention.

The team consisted of Mikala Waller, Kaleb Harp, Samantha Fender, Bryanna Buerkle, Lauren Grover, Meredith Oglesby, and Kaitlin Meade.

The members presented a small skit about the issue of food security. Harp, Fender, Waller, and Buerkle played a family who arrived at a grocery store that was closed, Oglesby and Meade were two advocators educating the family about the importance of food security and Grover was the narrator.

The team placed fourth in the state.
