Hillsboro Elementary students learn about civil rights history

On March 13, Hillsboro Elementary fifth grade Student Council members had the unique opportunity to meet and interview Ms. Elsie Peterson, an individual who participated in the March on Washington in 1963.

Ms. Peterson shared that her experience was "electrifying and moving," especially when hearing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. deliver his "I Have a Dream Speech."
