Hillsboro Elementary to host first annual PTO Carnival

The First Annual Hillsboro Elementary PTO Carnival will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 4-7 p.m. The event will feature fun, food, games, and prizes, with craft booths and both live and silent auctions for extravagant "themed" gift baskets.
The goal of the carnival is to raise $10,000. Proceeds from the event will go toward funding field trips, including the cost of fuel and bus repairs; a $25 cost reduction for fifth graders' $100 fee to attend Camp Joy; and a laminator for the kindergarten and first grade classes to protect their projects.
The Hillsboro PTO is in need of prizes for the auction, including gift certificates, gift items, or monetary donations. To make a donation, please contact Colleen Bolton (937-205-2101), Peggy Boyd (393-3449), or stop by the Hillsboro Elementary School and drop off your items addressed to John Oyer.
