Highland County students honored induction into Green Key Society at Wilmington College

Highland County residents and Wilmington College students Chanda Addington, Ishmael K. Ali, Amy N. Bricker, Kayla A. Luschek and Amy E. Petzold were honored recently for membership into the Green Key Society at the college's 30th annual Student Recognition Ceremony.
The Green Key Society at Wilmington College was founded in May 1951.
It was organized to recognize superior scholarship by students from WC in the years following accreditation by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges in 1944.
Juniors who have earned a cumulative average of at least 3.75 and seniors
who have earned a cumulative average of at least 3.5 are eligible for
membership and are invited to join.
The Green Key Honor Society was founded in May 1951 by Dr. Samuel
Marble, 12th President of Wilmington College.
Addington, a graduate of Washington Senior High School, Washington C.H., is majoring in education.
Bricker, a 2007 graduate of Waynesville High School, is majoring in business administration and accounting.
Luschek, a 2007 graduate of Hillsboro High School, is majoring in education.
Ali, a 2003 graduate of Hillsboro High School, is majoring in communication arts.
Petzold, a 2006 graduate of Hillsboro High School, is majoring in education and English.
Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated
with the Society of Friends (Quakers), is located in southwestern Ohio,
approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash
branch serves a large number of non-traditional students. Additional
