Highland County Republican Women’s Club accepting applications for Ayres-Van Frank Memorial Scholarships

The Highland County Republican Women’s Club will be awarding two non-renewable $1,000 scholarships in memory of club members Kay Ayres and Margaret Van Frank,
All high school seniors residing in Highland County planning to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or a trade or technical school may apply. Students need at least a 3.0 GPA to apply.
Application deadline is March 16. Applications and instructions have been sent to each school’s guidance counselor.
Students can contact their school counselors to get an application, complete it and mail it in by the deadline March 16. Winners will be announced in late April.
