Highland County holds judging contest

All five Highland County FFA Chapters pulled together to host an FFA Career Development Event Invitational Contest.

The judging contests took place on Feb. 23 at Hillsboro High School and surrounding areas. Members from over 40 different schools from around the state participated in the various contests.

The contest categories consisted of General Livestock Judging, held at Producers' Stockyards; Equine Management, held at Bank's Equine Farm outside of Hillsboro; Agronomy, Dairy Cattle, Dairy Products, Meats, and Poultry Judging.

Hillsboro FFA members will continue to participate in the Spring Career Development Event Invitationals around the State throughout March and April.
