HHS students honored at Military Student Recognition Ceremony

On Friday, April 29, Hillsboro High School recognized student recruits who have enlisted in the United States military during their annual Military Student Recognition Ceremony.

This is the school’s fourth year hosting this ceremony.

Students honored this year included:

• Bennett Everhart, Army;

• Xander Hardin, Navy; and

• Ethan Parry, Air Force.

“This is one of my favorite events of the year,” Hillsboro High School guidance counselor Jessica Rhoades said. “It allows our student body to recognize and support their fellow classmates that have made the decision to serve in the military.”
