Tessa Hilterbran and Lauren Crago, 2013 HHS graduates, were selected to attend a networking event for women supporting women. The event was titled "Let's Do Lunch" and was held on May 17 in the atrium of Southern State Community College.

The featured speaker was Dr. Nicole Roades, local resident and education professional, who explored how women shape their identity through the lens of Appalachia. The students learned why it is important personally, for our community and for future generations of young people in this area, as Dr. Roades presented "Identity/Untying the Knots."
