HHS freshmen enjoy Civil War demonstration

Hillsboro High School and Middle School students enjoyed several activities in September provided by the Choose To Read Ohio grant awarded to Hillsboro Middle School and High School, Southern State Community College and Highland County District Library.

Elaine Armstrong visited Rob Snavely's 9th grade classroom on Sept. 13, sharing her knowledge of the Civil War through the use of her Civil War, Underground Railroad and slavery memorabilia. Her presentation was videotaped to replay for students who participated in summer reading.[[In-content Ad]]
