Lead Summary

The second-grade pupils at Greenfield Elementary School recently completed a biography project about famous Americans throughout history.

At the conclusion of this project, the pupils dressed up as the person they researched and held a wax museum. Parents and students were invited to come to the wax museum.

The statues (the pupils) stood posed up and down the hallway as people put change into their cups. Upon putting in some change, each statue came to life and told a short bit of information about themselves and why they were important in history.

Overall, the second grade raised $287.84, which they donated to Pennies for Patients.
