Greenfield 3rd-graders enjoy lesson on penguins

By the Greenfield Elementary Third-Graders - Third-graders at Greenfield Elementary School have been learning about penguins. They read a story called "Penguin Chick." Many facts were discovered. There are 17 species of penguins. Most penguins are found at the South Pole on Antarctica, but some are found in warmer climates. Mrs. Hurtt's students pretended to be Emperor Penguins by keeping their eggs warm and standing on the ice and walking on their heels.
