Girl Scout Troop 321 would like to thank the Highland Nature Sanctuary and Karnes Orchard for a great outing on Oct. 4 and helping them finish their Cadette Tree and Trailblazing Badges.

The girls learned about the types of trees at the sanctuary on Cave Road, along with how to care for nature trails.

Karnes Orchard shared so much good information about a fruit tree farm and how the process works in growing apples. Thanks to both of these local destinations for supporting the troop.
