GEVS Board to meet Aug. 28

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District will have a special meeting of the Board on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6:15 p.m. in the GEVSD Boardroom to consider the items detailed along with any other item that lawfully may come before the Board. 

The Board may enter into executive session to discuss matters required to be kept confidential by federal laws, rules, or state statutes. 

During the meeting, the Board will consider the employment of Debi Bobb as a bus driver beginning Aug. 29, 2025, and continuing through June 30, 2026; such employment to be at rate of step 10 on the negotiated salary schedule and subject to such other terms and conditions as are set forth in the written contract document presented to this Board. 

The Board will also hold a public meeting on the issue of the re-employment of Alma Shoemaker during her SERS service retirement. Members of the public are invited to provide input to the Board on the issue of re-employing Alma Shoemaker during her service retirement. Speakers are limited to five minutes each, and all public comment will be closed after 30 minutes. A sign-up sheet will be used, if necessary, to determine the order in which persons will address the Board.
