Four Laurel Oaks students selected as Students of the Month

Four Laurel Oaks students were honored by their teachers and peers as Students of the Month for August and September 2010.
August Students of the Month:
JUNIOR – Charles Finch-Masonry-Lynchburg-Clay
Masonry Instructor, Shawn Wilkin said, “Charles is an outstanding young man who works hard every day.” He is a student ambassador, Skills USA Regional Officer Candidate, he participates in Student Equity Council, and is in the Youth Apprenticeship.
SENIOR – Shayden James-Sports Rehabilitation and Therapy-Wilmington
Shayden is a Senior Student Council President, Laurel Oaks leader and very self-motivated. Brian Robinson, Sports Rehabilitation instructor states, “Shayden has a great personality, respects and works well with others.”
September Students of the Month:
JUNIOR – Daniel Crowe – Health Technology-Miami Trace
“Daniel is polite and always willing to help others,” says Pam Adams, Health Technology Instructor. Daniel is also highly involved in his church and is a student ambassador at school.
SENIOR – Kyle Carey-CSTN-East Clinton
Kyle has perfect attendance, is always cooperative, stays on task and works hard.
Eric Scully, Computer Service Technician and Networking Instructor states, “Kyle is very polite and respectful, and a joy to have in my class.”

These students were chosen for their excellent work in classes, leadership, attendance, and the support they show their programs, the Laurel Oaks campus, their home school, and their community. They will be honored in December at a luncheon at Laurel Oaks.
