Faust, Pulse attend regional teacher conference

The Southwest Ohio Regional Conference for Retired Teachers was held Oct. 17 at the Montgomery County ESC in Dayton.

Jim Faust and Doris Pulse represented Highland County at the meeting. Faust is the current county president, and Pulse is the current treasurer.

The agenda included updates from both the president and the executive director of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association (ORTA). Each county’s president also gave reports of local activities and issues facing retired educators.
