Fairfield PTO helps needy family at 2009 'Ready-Fest

“Ready-Fest 2009” took place Tuesday, Aug. 11 in the Fairfield Elementary auditeria.
    Eighty students received bookbags filled with the required school supplies, as well as undergarments and socks.
    Students and their families were also able to take clothing, shoes, hats, gloves and coats that were donated from other families in the school district.
    Since this date, the PTO has provided school supplies to 15 additional students.
    Appreciation is extended to the following individuals and businesses for their generous donation to this year’s “Ready-Fest:” Megan Abbott, Candle-lite, Cox Paving, Inc., Cindy Cox, Downtown Photography, Hardins Creek Friends Church, Hardy Memorials, Hester Asphalt Seal Coating, Higgins Construction and Supply Co., Jerry Haag Motors, Leesburg Federal Savings Bank, Leesburg Hardware and Lumber, Leesburg Market and Meats, Leesburg United Methodist Church, Kim Long, Lori Magulac, Magulac’s Tire Service, Rae Mahanes, Deb and Bill Mangus, Carroll and Johanna McKinney, Jodell Miracle, Mary Shope, Square One Heating and Cooling, Vista Grain, Jim and Becky Wilson.
