Seven teams represented Fairfield Local Schools at the VEX Robotics competition at Harrison near Cincinnati on Jan. 20. The challenge was to guide their robots to stack blocks following guidelines. The high school boys varsity team placed 13th of 46 teams. The varsity girls scored 24th place of 46.

In addition, Fairfield had a boys junior varsity team, scoring 23/46; an eighth-grade team, 37/46, and a seventh grade team 20/46. This is Fairfield's fourth contest this school year.
