Junior Achievement’s IGen Ignition Day for the Greater Cincinnati area has wrapped up, and young entrepreneurs from Fairfield Local High School have taken the top prize.
Congratulations to Andrew Benson, Kaylee Hurless-Miller and Emerson Zink for earning first place and securing their spot at the national competition.
The IGen Ignition Day program is designed to spark entrepreneurial thinking and help students develop creative solutions to real-world problems. By working through the innovation process – brainstorming ideas, refining concepts, and pitching their solutions – students gain valuable experience that prepares them for future careers in business, technology, and beyond. The competition challenges students to think critically, collaborate, and bring their ideas to life.
In addition to Fairfield’s first-place winners, we also want to celebrate Iryna Reeves and Killian Matson, who have also qualified for the national level. Their hard work and innovative ideas stood out, and we are thrilled to see them represent our community on a bigger stage.
Fairfield Local High Schools believes that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset at a young age helps students build confidence, resilience and leadership skills.
Please join us in cheering on these incredible students as they advance to the national competition.
