Fairfield FFA leaders visit Washington D.C.

The Fairfield FFA chapter’s president, Grace Larrick, and vice president, Ryan Matthews, got the chance to travel to Washington D.C. to experience the Washington Leadership Conference this summer.
They spent a week with fellow FFA members from across the country during the conference. They visited the White House, along with many other historical monuments. They also visited the Newseum and the Holocaust museum.
The group learned about advocacy and to celebrate diversity. To finish the week up, they developed a living to serve plan. This is where they developed a goal to give back to those in need in our community and across the world.
Both members claim that the Washington Leadership Conference was definitely a week to remember.
