From Nov. 12-Dec. 2, the Fairfield FFA Chapter ran their annual “Adopt a Christmas Child” fundraising event. This event helps to raise money for families in the Fairfield community who do not have the funds to provide Christmas presents for their children.

This coin drive fundraiser was available to all students in K-12 who are a part of the Fairfield Local School District to donate to. This year the chapter raised $1,000 to buy gifts for a local family in need.

The Fairfield FFA officers, including Sydney Sanders, Grace Matthews, Wyatt Morrow, Emily Taylor, Morgan Shoemaker, Olivia Hunter, Cheyenne Byler and Emily Haines, went shopping for the kids based on a list of things they enjoy and love. It was a major success for both the chapter and the adopted family. The chapter appreciates everyone who donated and assisted in any way.
