Fairfield FFA donates chickens to food pantry

Fairfield FFA has been raising chickens for the past two months, and on Saturday, April 23, the meat was donated to our local food pantry.

From the day we received the chicks, Fairfield’s members have been feeding, watering and taking care of the chickens. Our members also loaded, transported and bagged the chickens on the 23rd, when they were donated to our community food pantry.

Fairfield FFA is very proud of our members for taking on this responsibility and using the chickens to benefit our community.
