Fairfield Elementary 4th graders to be included in Young American Poetry Digest

Several Fairfield Elementary fourth graders in Mrs. Hooper’s class will have their poem published in the Young American Poetry Digest.

These 28 student poems were chosen by a panel of educators out of all poems submitted nationwide. The panel looked for creativity, structure and poetic techniques. Congratulations to the following students: Hailey Baldwin, Cameron Bales, Makayla Brown, Isabelle Brunck, Cheyenne Byler, Britney Cartwright, Emmy Caudill, Emma Cowan, Trinity Ferrell, Ally Gragg, Emily Haines, Hannah Hamilton, Mya Hamilton, Jobey Hattan, Chase Hicks, Jayden Howard, Jadi Howland, Aylah Humphreys, Carson Jenkins, Maison Kier, Logan McIntosh, Claire Newkirk, Allie Pavey, Grace Pelfrey, Kailey Pfister, DeShawn Rickman, Carly Sanders and Sarah Shoemaker.
