Dettwiller returns to McClain science department

Among the new members of the McClain High School teaching staff this year is Margaret Dettwiller, who has been teaching for 23 years.

Dettwiller spent her first eight years of teaching at McClain, and she also taught at two other schools and even a college in the field of science.

This year at MHS, Dettwiller will be teaching biology, anatomy and physiology and earth science.

¨I love being back here at McClain," she said. "This is my home, and I’m glad I am here to help educate the students of my community.¨

Dettwiller has been married for 40 years, and she has five children, all of whom graduated from MHS, and 13 grandchildren.
