Colin Ryan receives Wilmington College scholarship

WILMINGTON – Adams County resident Colin E.M. Ryan is the recipient of a $5,000 Legacy Award to attend Wilmington College, where he plans to major in secondary education. 

Ryan has also received an academic scholarship from WC.

He is a 2013 graduate of North Adams High School.

He will graduate in 2014 from Southern State Community College.

Ryan is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and his high school activities included: baseball, basketball and mock trial team.

Ryan is the son of Rory and Pam Ryan of Seaman. His sisters, Caitlin (class of 2009) and Meghan (class of 2010) are WC graduates.

Other types of scholarships and award amounts are available from Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers).

It is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash branch campus serves a large number of non-traditional students. For more information on enrollment opportunities, visit www.wilmington.edu online.
