Buckskin holds Family Fitness Night

A Family Fun Fitness Night was held at Buckskin Elementary School on Thursday, Oct. 14. The event was held to promote exercise and good nutrition as well as allow families the opportunity to come to school and be active together. Stations were located throughout the school facilities for the parents and students to enjoy. Geo Motion Mats, jump ropes, hula hoops, parachute, kickball, four square, frisbees, and a mile run/walk were a few of the stations that families played together. Resource information on nutrition, Fuel Up to Play 60!, President’s Challenge, and healthy kids was also available. To be eligible for door prizes a physical activity and nutrition quiz was completed by the participants. It was a great evening of fun and fitness. Thank you to all the teachers, parent volunteers, door
prize sponsors and families for making this night a huge success! Play 60 every day.
