Buckskin Elementary students compete in basketball tournament

The fourth and fifth grade students at Buckskin Elementary recently competed in a double-elimination basketball tournament during lunch recess. 

Two divisions of eight three-on-three teams competed for a division championship. The winner for each division then competed for the Buckskin Championship.

Congratulations to all the participants and the championship team, West 7, who went undefeated in the tournament.

Winning team members included:

• West Division Winner and Buckskin Champions, Team #7: Captain Zane Adams, Kenzie Wise, Rayden Daugherty and Olivia Brewer.

• West Division Runners-Up, Team #5: Captain Damian Taylor, Jade Ellis, Conner Fraizer and Aubrey Jeffers.

• East Division Winner, Team #6: Captain Jordan Bell, Clayton Gipson, Sara Kegley and Gwen Duncan.

• East Division Runners-Up, Team #2: Captain Vaiden Miracle, Payton Worthen, Jayden Lanning and Katlynn Goen.
