Buckskin Elementary pupils raise funds for American Heart Association

The third and fourth physical education classes at Buckskin Elementary School jumped rope to raise funds for the American Heart Association through Jump Rope for Heart.
A total of $2,331 was collected by the students to support the fight against heart disease and stroke, America’s number one killer. The students learn jump rope skills, heart health, and how nutrition and physical activity can help them live longer, healthier lives.
Jonsea Hatfield and Lily Barnes were the top fund raisers, collecting $152 and $150 for the event! All the students received Thank-You gifts for their participation and the school will receive a gift certificate to purchase physical education equipment. Thank you to all the students, staff, parents and supporters for making this event a huge success.
