Buckskin Elementary pupils raise funds for AHA

The 3rd and 4th grade physical education classes at Buckskin Elementary jumped rope to raise funds for the American Heart Association through Jump Rope for Heart.
A total of $2,367.47 was collected by the students to support the fight against heart disease and stroke, America's number one killer.
The students learned jump rope skills, heart health, and how nutrition and physical activity
can help them live longer, healthier lives.
Zaine Hickok and Reagan Barton were the top fund raisers, each collecting $125 for the event.
All the students received thank-you gifts for their participation and the school will receive a
gift certificate to purchase physical education equipment. Thank you to all the students, staff, parents and supporters for making this event a huge success.
