Buckskin 5th graders play in intramural basketball tournament

The fifth grade students at Buckskin Elementary recently participated in a 3-on-3 double-elimination intramural basketball tournament.

Twelve teams in two divisions competed for a division championship, with those winners going on to compete for the overall Buckskin championship.

Team #6 in the East Division went undefeated throughout the tournament to claim the overall championship. Members of that team included Captain Jayden Allison, Renae Wright, Kaden Penwell and Dillon Milburn.

Finishing second in the East Division was Team #1: Captain Peyton Moore, Brice Graham, Lily Barnes and Anthony Mootispaw.

Team #7 was the second-place overall team and West Division champion: Captain Jude Gruber, Wednesday Adams, Seth Weller and Hunter Miller.

The second-place West Division team was Team #2: Captain Isaiah Irvin, Jama Parson, Ethan Howard and Briannah Ingles.
