Press Release-

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) has applauded news that four schools in southwest Ohio have been designated as 2015 National Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education (ED).

The National Blue Ribbon Schools program recognizes elementary, middle and high schools that have worked towards significantly closing the achievement gap or have students who continually perform at very high levels. Of the 335 public and private schools recognized by ED as National Blue Ribbon Schools, 14 are located in Ohio.

“I am proud of the work done by Ohio’s Blue Ribbon Schools to help secure a bright future for our students,” Brown said. “These schools, and many others across our state, are setting a high bar for our students and driving them towards success.”
