Bright Elementary students win math contest

The SumDog Math Contest was from Jan. 18-24. Out of the seven schools (Bright Elementary, Fairfield Elementary, Clinton-Massie Middle School, Greenfield Middle School, Lynchburg-Clay Elementary, Hillsboro Elementary and Denver Place Elementary), Bright Elementary won first place. The overall school scores are the average number of correct answers out of the students in the school. Bright Elementary also had one student finish in the Top 10 out of all students in the competition.

Pictured is Kara Ward, fourth grader who received second place. Bright Elementary had eight students in the top 50.
