Bright Elementary School appreciates donations from Altrusa of Highland County

Bright Elementary School would like to send a huge thank-you to Highland County Altrusa.
Recently, two Bright Elementary language arts teachers were awarded grants to help support their literary instruction.
Altrusa member Barbara Yochum visited Bright Elementary and presented Stephanie Noe and Natasha Shelton with checks that will be used to purchase books for their classroom libraries.
Mrs. Yochum also took time to speak to second-graders about the important work that Altrusa does in Highland County and the importance of reading. All students in the first and second grades were generously given books to take home.
Also, earlier in the year, all sixth-graders received books to take home.
Bright Elementary enjoyed the visit with Mrs. Yochum and greatly appreciates the continued support that Altrusa provides to Highland County’s schools and local communities.
