Bright Elementary hosts successful "Bright Night"

On Thursday, October 8, Bright Elementary held its first Bright Night.  The theme was "Harvest Fest".  There were many activities including a pumpkin decorating contest, measuring/weighing pumpkins, learning about crops grown in Ohio, and a brief description of our Title program.  Popcorn and apple cider were served as refreshments.  The winners of the pumpkin decorating contest are as follows:
Preschool - Ovid Wilson
Kindergarten - Sky Leston
1st grade - Logan Grant
2nd grade - Gavin Tebo
3rd grade - Hailey Monteith
4th grade - Aaron Watson
5th grade - Carter Stolz
6th grade - Kalie Scott
The PTL generously donated a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.  The winner of the gift card was drawn from the classroom winners of the pumpkin decorating contest. Logan Grant was the lucky recipient of the grand prize.
We would like to thank all the staff members and PTL officers that helped with the planning. We would especially like to thank all the parents and students who attended.  We had over 150 people participate.  We look forward to seeing you at the next Bright Night.
