Brad Keltner, a senior at Lynchburg-Clay High School has been honored by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association and the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center as Highland County¹s 2010 Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award winner.
    Keltner received the award, named for Ohio¹s former State Superintendent of Public Instruction, at an awards luncheon held in Columbus on April 14.
    Award recipients must have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement as well as other significant school and community accomplishments.   Keltner plans to attend Purdue University and major in engineering or agriculture.
    Keltner is a member of the Lynchburg-Clay High School National Honor Society, and he is currently treasurer of the Lynchburg-Clay High School FFA. He has participated in many clubs, sports and won various academic awards. He is an active member of 4-H where he has also obtained many awards.       
    Commenting on his goals, Keltner stated, ³My goal is to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career. I have worked hard to keep my 4.0 while still enrolling in challenging classes."
