Beatty’s art showcased at MHS

Madison Beatty is a senior at McClain High School who’s currently featured in the art showcase. Beatty’s display contains a few pieces of her artwork, but the main thing in her showcase is photographs in honor of her mom. 

“The main thing in the showcase is the pictures of my mom because she passed away one year ago this month, and I wanted to show people how beautiful and amazing she truly was,” Beatty stated.

Beatty says doesn’t have a specific style in regards to her artwork. She just enjoys creating whatever comes to mind. Her inspiration is Mrs. Soards, the art teacher at McClain. Beatty says Mrs. Soards puts forth the time and effort to assist her with her artwork.  

“Art is sort of an escape to me. Whenever I’m bored or stressed out, I just paint a little picture,” she said.
