Altrusa International presents chapter books to Greenfield 3rd graders

Altrusa International of Highland County presented a chapter book to Greenfield Elementary’s third grade students on Thursday.

Altrusa is a group of Highland County women who work as mentors, teachers, community leaders and child advocates. Their primary goal is to promote literacy throughout the county.

Besides giving all Highland County third graders chapter books, Altrusa members have placed Little Free Libraries in many area communities and provided grants for educators in Highland County for several years.

Greenfield Elementary would like to thank Altrusa for all they do for our children and community.
