Adena Health System last month sponsored 30 participants from eight school districts to attend the 21st Annual
Coordinated School Health Conference at the Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark.

Skill-building sessions and technical assistance from a variety of health and education experts were part of the conference.  Representatives from each school also completed an action plan that addressed local health and
school improvement concerns and solutions.
School districts represented at the conference and sponsored by Adena were Adams County – Ohio Valley Schools, Alexander Local Schools, Athens City Schools, Bishop Flaget School, Chillicothe City Schools, Greenfield Village Exempted Schools, Jackson City Schools and Manchester Local Schools.
