5 Hillsboro FFA Members Receive a Star FFA Award

Hillsboro FFA Chapter 

On April 12, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter hosted their annual Chapter Awards Ceremony. One way to recognize our outstanding members is by awarding Chapter Star Awards. 

The Star Freshman award is given to an outstanding freshman who showcases their dedication to the FFA through competing in various Career Development Events and possessing great leadership qualities. 

This year’s Star Freshman recipient was Abby Anderson. 

The Star Greenhand Award is presented to an impressive Sophomore member who has applied leadership principles to their lifestyle and has shown dedication to our chapter. This year’s Star Greenhand member was Bri Foxx. The Star Chapter award is given to a remarkable Junior or Senior FFA member who has set high standards of leadership for our chapter members and embodies the values of the FFA. 

The Star Chapter Award was given to Adalyn Gaines. This year's Star Spirit Award is given to a student who has been an exceptional member of our FFA Chapter. They are always there to encourage others and can always be counted on to show up to chapter events. 

This year's recipient was Aaron Hatter! Finally, the Deklab Award is given to a remarkable Senior FFA member who has shown a true dedication to leading our chapter and upholding the values of the FFA. 

This year’s recipient was Grace Allen. Congratulations to all of our Star FFA Award winners.
