2026 Ohio Counties Scholarship applications available

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2026 Ohio Counties Scholarship.

The Ohio Counties Scholarship is sponsored by the County Commissioners Association of Ohio Research and Educational Foundation.

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants:

• Must be a high school senior;

• Must have at least a “B” average (cumulative) or equivalent overall GPA;

• Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of a county in Ohio; and

• Must plan to attend a university, community college, training program or vocational school in Ohio and plan on a career in public service in Ohio.

Throughout the state, there will be one scholarship offered to students in each CCAO District (Central, Southwest, Southeast, Northwest and Northeast). The award amount is $2,000.
