The annual Hillsboro Middle School Walk-A-Thon was held Thursday, May 20. Students from the sixth, seventh and eighth grade voted this year to donate funds raised to Anna's Army.
Students from each grade walked for one hour in the afternoon. Each student was given a ticket for every $10 they brought in and were awarded a ticket for every lap they walked around the school. Winners from each grade were then drawn at lunch. The winner for the eighth grade was Jordan Treadway, seventh grade Chelse Hughes, sixth grade, Mason Burchett. The winners and one guest each were treated to a limo ride and lunch at Ponderosa compliments of Mr. Burrows and Mr. Snively.[[In-content Ad]]
