Doug Wallace, 70, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
 
He was born July 17, 1953 in Wilmington, the son of the late Delbert Lee and Delores Maxine (Ferguson) Wallace. 

On Oct. 11, 1972 in Wilmington, he married Linda Lou Campbell Wallace, who survives.

A 1971 Clinton-Massie High School graduate, Doug retired from the Clinton County Highway Garage.

In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his sons, Leroy (Sheri) Wallace of Washington Court House and Robbie (Sherri) Say of Lynchburg; daughter, Betty Jo Gruber of Wilmington; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Angela (Randy) Grezjka of Hillsboro; brothers, Randy Wallace and Delbert Earl Wallace, both of Clarksville, and Kevin Wallace of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews
 
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Kim Wallace; and brothers, Dale & Marty Wallace.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
 
Contributions in Doug's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
