Dennis Lee Holsinger

Dennis Lee Holsinger, 72, of Lynchburg, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Oct. 24, 2023 at his home.

He was born Dec. 14, 1950 in Wadsworth, the son of the late Rodney and Cleo Holsinger of Greenfield.

Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Edward McClain High School, Greenfield.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry (Burden) Holsinger, whom he married Dec. 19, 1980; five children, Scot (Marcia) Holsinger, Rob (Barb) Edenfield, Shawn (Carol) Holsinger, Amy (Brad) Mitchell and Tim (Amanda) Holsinger; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; three sisters, Judy (Steven) Pazienza, Shirley Holsinger Jette and Crystal (Bobby) Davis; two brothers, Steve (Miracle) Holsinger and Jeff (Kim) Holsinger; brothers-in-law, Darrell Riffe and Terry (Teresa) Burden; and sisters-in-law, Patricia Burden Smith and Carla Holsinger.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Riffe; and one brother, Jay Holsinger.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 1 p.m. with Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.
