Cincinnati Reds announce Sept. 18-24 homestand highlights
The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following highlights for their homestand Sept. 18-24 against the Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Monday, Sept. 18 – Reds vs. Minnesota Twins, 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.)
• TV: Bally Sports Ohio (John Sadak, Barry Larkin & Jim Day)
• Radio: 700WLW and stations on the Reds Radio Network (Tommy Thrall & Jeff Brantley)
• Kyle Farmer 2022 Award Ceremony: Former Reds player and current Minnesota Twins IF/OF Kyle Farmer will receive his 2022 Joe Nuxhall Good Guy Award and Ernie Lombardi MVP Award presented by TriHealth before Monday’s game. Farmer spent four seasons in Cincinnati, including his final season last year when he led the team in games played, hits, home runs, RBIs and doubles.
• 2023 Draft Pick Recognition: The Reds welcome their top three selections from the 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft held in July over All-Star Week: Rhett Lowder (7), a right-handed pitcher out of Wake Forest University; Ty Floyd (38), a right-handed pitcher out of LSU; Sammy Stafura (43), a shortstop out of Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt, N.Y.
• The Nuxhall Foundation Ball Delivery: A team of walkers are making the 21-mile journey from Hamilton, Ohio to Great American Ball Park with the official game ball for tonight’s game. The walkers have a $15,000 fundraising goal to benefit The Nuxhall Foundation and Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Field.
• Salvation Army Grant: During pregame ceremonies, The Salvation Army will receive a $6,000 grant for Anti-Human Trafficking Efforts from Major League Baseball, Major League Baseball Players Association and the Cincinnati Reds.
• Foul Territory: The Foul Territory digital baseball show featuring former Reds Todd Frazier & Danny Graves and former MLB Network host Scott Braun will be broadcasting live from field on Sept. 18 & 19 (1-3 p.m.) and from the Reds Hall of Fame & Musuem on Sept. 20. (live from 1-3 p.m.)

• 3-2-1 Tuesdays: For all Tuesday home games this season, fans can purchase $3 Buds and Bud Lights (12 oz. cans), $2 hot dogs and $1 ice cream cups, presented by Budweiser and Bud Light.
• Police & Fire Appreciation Night: Many of tonight’s pregame ceremonies will feature members of local police, fire, sheriff and EMT departments, presented by TriHealth.
Wednesday, Sept. 20 – Reds vs. Minnesota Twins, 12:35 p.m. (gates open at 11:05 a.m.)

• Mike’s Carwash: Representatives from Mike’s Carwash will present a check for over $104,000 to the Reds Community Fund during pregame ceremonies. The donation was a result of the proceeds from Mike’s “Ultimate Double Header” promotion during the 2023 season.
Friday, Sept. 22 – Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.)

• City Connect Friday: Reds players and coaches will wear the Nike City Connect uniform as part of City Connect Fridays.
• Fireworks Friday: Rozzi’s fireworks show presented by Kroger to begin shortly after the game ends.
• Fiesta Rojos: In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Reds will celebrate Fiesta Rojos tonight, presented by Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers. Many of the pregame and in-game ceremonies will feature members of Cincinnati’s Hispanic community including a live band and DJ, Honor Guard with flags from Latin countries, National Anthem, Hometown Hero, First Responder of the Game and the Hispanic Community Night Community Advocate Award presented by PNC.
• Roberto Clemente Award: Hunter Greene, the Reds nominee for the 2023 Roberto Clemente Award, is scheduled to be honored during pregame ceremonies. The Roberto Clemente Award recognizes one Major League player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field. Fans can show support for Greene by casting a vote for him at MLB.com/Clemente21 through Oct. 1.

• Bronson Arroyo Replica Plaque: The 2023 collectible gift series continues in Sept. with a replica of Bronson Arroyo’s Reds Hall of Fame plaque, presented by Dinsmore. The replica plaque is free with regular-price paid admission to the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum (or a Great American Ball Park Tour) and is available Saturdays and Sundays in September while supplies last.
• Tejay Antone & Brandon Williamson Autograph Signing – Sept. 23: Reds pitchers Tejay Antone and Brandon Williamson will sign autographs and pose for photos with fans on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Reds Hall of Fame in the Williams Family Champions Gallery. • The Big Red Machine from the Inside: A Bat Boys’ Retrospective – Sept. 23: Fans can take a look back at the Big Red Machine from the unique perspective of two of that legendary club’s bat boys as Warren Brown and Tom Niebauer reflect on their time with the team. Warren and Tom will share memories of Crosley Field, the move to Riverfront Stadium, the 1970 All-Star Game, and two trips to the World Series, along with stories about their time with Sparky Anderson, Johnny Bench, Pete Rose and Tony Perez. This special event is free with Hall of Fame admission.
• Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Teens Free Day – Sept. 23: The final Teens Free Day for the 2023 season will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23. Museum guests ages 13-19 receive free admission to the Reds Hall of Fame compliments of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
