Christopher 'Chris' Joseph Carlisle

Christopher “Chris” Joseph Carlisle, 76, of Winchester, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, at Legacy of Hillsboro/Heartland of Hillsboro.

He was born May 10, 1947 in Marietta, the son of the late Charles and Alice (Early) Carlisle.

Chris was a 1965 graduate from Eastern High School, and he also attended the University of Cincinnati. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, serving some of his duty in Germany and France. Chris worked for Rumpke for over 20 years, really enjoyed gardening, and he was an avid sports fan.

Chris is survived by his companion of 26 years, Denise Lowry; five siblings, Charles (Ruth) Carlisle, David (Ann) Carlisle, Ronnie (Judy) Carlisle, Judy (Bill Broomall) Baker and Joy (Lee) Nutter; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; his beloved fur baby, D.D.; and his many other four-legged pets.

Celebration of Chris’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Ky. 41056.
