Cailey Marie Branham
Cailey Marie Branham, 31, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2023.
Cailey was born June 29, 1992 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus to Mark W. and Deidra D. (Mann) Branham.
She graduated from Edward Lee McClain High School in 2010 and later attended the Ohio Media School in Whitehall, graduating with a certificate in broadcast media.
Cailey lived most of her life around the Frankfort/Chillicothe area. She was the first to tell you that she felt the call of the wild, and her free spirit led to meeting many people, visiting unique places and seeking out wild adventures. She was very creative and expressive, always able to find the good and happy in most any situation.
At times she wandered, taking in the country and the sights, never caring about tomorrow, just the beat of the drum in her head. All the time she reminded everyone that she had a “gypsy soul,” that she didn’t belong in any one place and that her adventures were the fuel for her life. She wore her dreadlocks with pride and would swear that they had magical powers. Her style and life were unique to her, and you always knew when she walked into the room.
Cailey loved intensely, especially her children. Anyone could see that love on display whenever they were together. She was always thinking about them and working to provide for them. Cailey loved being a mom to Gypsy, Royce and Rawley.
Cailey always worked and most often worked as a server. She took great pride in her work and felt it was what she was meant to do. She would be most happy when she was serving food. It gave her the opportunity to meet new people, to spin tales and share laughter and to interact with others in a crazy, busy environment in a way that only Cailey could. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with her.
There was never a dull moment with Cailey. She was a beautiful human being. She was a gypsy, a dreamer, an artist, a wandering soul and a friend who would give unconditionally. Cailey was an original, free spirit and Earth angel.
Cailey leaves her three children, Gypsy Rue Branham, Royce Maverick Cooper and Rawley Matthew Cooper; and her parents, Mark W. (Audra) Branham and Deidra D. (Robbin) Hamilton, both of Greenfield. Also surviving are her maternal grandmother, Jean Mann, and her paternal grandmother, Sylvia Branham, both of Greenfield; two brothers, Zach (Lauren) O’Connor of Greenfield and Jacob (Janet Ramirez) Branham of Clarksville, Tenn.; stepsister, Cierra Bolender of Greenfield; stepbrothers, Robbie (Chelsea) Hamilton of Greenfield and Aron (Cynthia) Hamilton of Indianapolis, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and four uncles, Todd (Bert) Mann of Morrow, Bryan (Lee Ann) Mann of Greenfield, Tadd (Greta) Branham of New Vienna and Jody Branham of Wilmington, N.C.
Cailey was preceded in death by her Pappa Bill Mann.
